We collect personal information that is necessary to deliver our matching, messaging, and recruiting tools. This includes:

• Account Authentication Credentials: Your email address, phone number, authentication tokens, and profile initials, managed through Firebase Authentication.
• Candidate Profile Details: Full name (first name, middle name, last name), education qualifications, work history, skills, geographical location, job preferences, and profile avatar.
• Professional Documents: Resumes and cv files (e.g. PDF/DOCX format) uploaded directly by candidates to SettlesU.
• Recruiter Corporate Profile Data: Company name, company description, perks, corporate values, industry type, corporate location, logo, and job requirements.
• Verification Information (Recruiters): Corporate domain email address and official business identifiers (GSTIN, tax registration numbers, or corporate registrations).
• Platform Communication Logs: Real-time messaging and chat logs, connection requests, pending invites, and active block lists.
• Technical Device & Analytics Data: IP address, device model, operating system, unique device identifiers, network carrier, and usage metrics on app performance.

3. How We Use Your Data

We process your data based on your explicit consent, to perform our contract with you, and to pursue our legitimate business interests:

• To authenticate and manage candidate and recruiter accounts.
• To feed the matching engine, recommending candidates to recruiters and job postings/companies to candidates.
• To facilitate job applications, allowing recruiters to view and download resumes of candidates who apply or connect.
• To secure recruiter authenticity, ensuring recruiters are linked to verified companies and reducing platform spam.
• To deliver real-time chat messaging and push notifications between matched candidates and recruiters.
• To enforce interactive safety rules, such as matching restrictions based on mutual blocking.
• To troubleshoot, optimize performance, and debug application issues.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We use trusted third-party cloud infrastructure and services to operate SettlesU. Specifically, your data is processed and stored using Google Firebase Services:

• Firebase Authentication: Manages secure user registration and passwordless login streams.
• Cloud Firestore: Stores database entries including candidate profiles, recruiter company configurations, job postings, messages, and application states.
• Firebase Storage: Stores and hosts binary files, including candidate resumes, recruiter logos, and profile images.

These service providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and are prohibited from using it for any purpose other than providing services to SettlesU.

5. Information Sharing & Disclosure

Your data is shared inside the Platform to facilitate professional networking and hiring outcomes:

• Candidate Visibility: Candidate profiles, resumes, and listed skills are shown to recruiters only when candidates choose to connect, apply for a job, or participate in networking.
• Recruiter & Company Visibility: Recruiter job postings, company perks, values, and locations are made visible to candidates on the home feeds and search indexes.
• Legal Disclosures: We may disclose information if required to do so by law, or in response to subpoenas, warrants, or court orders by a competent judicial authority.

6. Data Storage, Location & Security

Your personal data is hosted securely on Google Firebase cloud servers. We implement robust, state-of-the-art security measures to protect your information, including:

• TLS/SSL encryption for data in transit during API calls.
• AES-256 encryption for data at rest on Firebase servers.
• Strict Firestore Security Rules ensuring users can only read/write authorized paths.
• Session validation and rate-limiting on login/authentication attempts.

However, no method of transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Account Deletion & Data Purging

You possess full ownership and control of your personal data on SettlesU. You can delete your account and associated data at any time:

• App Settings: You can submit an account deletion request through the profile settings interface within the mobile application.
• Email Requests: You can request permanent account deletion by sending an email from your registered account address to contact@damodarastech.com or damodarasmarttech@gmail.com.
• Scope of Deletion: Upon verification of your identity, we will permanently delete your authentication record, personal profile, resume files, and message records from our production servers within thirty (30) business days. Backup files will be overwritten or purged in the regular backup cycle.
• Exceptions: We may retain specific anonymized analytical logs, or data required for tax, compliance, or fraud investigations as mandated by law.

8. Your Rights under Data Regulations

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• The right to access and receive a copy of your personal data.
• The right to correct or update inaccurate or incomplete information.
• The right to withdraw your consent to data processing at any time.
• The right to request the erasure/deletion of your personal data.
